Sunday Ride

The regular Sunday ride is the original social ride conducted by BWW.

The ride leaves from the Wagga Beach at 2:00PM or at 9:00AM during the summer months, December, January and February. Be there a bit earlier to ensure you are ready to roll at the nominated time.

We go for about 2 hours and finish at Scribbles Cafe in Fitzmaurice Street for coffee, cake and conversation.

Fat Tyred Rides

The Fat Tyred Ride is a ride that requires a bike with fat tyres. Held mainly on tracks and cycleways there is little interaction with traffic however some of the terrain requires that you use a bike with fat tyres. A mountain bike is ideal however a hybrid or touring bike with fat tyres would do the job but it’s definitely not a ride to take a road bike on.

The ride is definitely held on the first Sunday of each month. Fat Tyred Rides may be available on other Sundays. Confirmation of this may be made by calling David Neil on 02 6971 7778 or logging onto the Bicycle Wagga Wagga Facebook page.

Coffee Grinds

The Coffee Grinds is a ride of between 30 to 40 kilometres, although some people have been further, on a Wednesday morning. Meet so that you are ready to depart at 9:00am from the Kooringal Mall on Lake Albert Road.

B4 Breakfast Ride

The B4 Breakfast ride is on Saturdays and leaves from the Kooringal Mall. Meet ready to leave at 7:30am or at 7:00am during the summer months, December, January and February.

The riders enjoy a lap around the Gregadoo Loop followed by breakfast at the Cafe back at the Mall. For most of the year the ride goes in a clockwise direction. However, for a small portion of the year, from the first Saturday in February until the end of Daylight Savings the direction is anticlockwise due to risk of the sun being in the eyes of drivers travelling east along Inglewood Road causing an unacceptable safety risk.
