All ride Leaders are volunteers who generously donate their time to plan and conduct these rides. Each Ride Leader is an individual and therefore the ride they choose and the way they decide to organise it will reflect that Leader’s preferences. These people give their time and energies to provide fellow cyclists with a safe, enjoyable cycling experience. You don’t have to be a super human to lead a ride. All you have to have is a willingness to share some of your favourite cycling experiences with others. Anyone with an idea for a ride should contact Eric Armstrong on 0427 262 768 to discuss the options. All members are encouraged to lead rides and to assist Ride Leaders. Bicycle NSW, our parent organisation, has produced a set of Ride Leader Guidelines. Don’t be daunted by these. These are just a collection of good ideas. Feel free to discuss any aspect of leading a ride with any Ride Leader. BWW have a number of items which may be useful to Ride Leaders when conducting the ride. These items are included on the Assets Register. Please contact the person that holds the item to arrange to use it. |
